Developing Winning Value Propositions: A Workshop for Entrepreneurs

Are you an entrepreneur looking to find the best way to determine and communicate the value of your offering to potential customers? Well, look no further! The Georgian Bay Accelerator is hosting a workshop on June 1st 2023 at the Georgian Peaks Ski Club in Thornbury.

At this workshop, founders of new start-ups just as much as entrepreneurs with existing businesses will receive invaluable feedback and mentorship from experienced professionals. Led by start-up development expert Laura Allan, this workshop is specifically designed to help entrepreneurs and founders zero in on their target customers, understand the specific problems those customers are looking to solve, and how they can develop a value proposition that resonates with them.

To prepare for the workshop and maximize impact and learnings, participants will be given a homework assignment, which has been distributed four weeks in advance. We had a special perk for participants who returned their assignments two weeks before the event: they received FREE entry! Now that this deadline has passed, the entrance fee to the event is only $25 which will go towards funding the not-for-profit GB Accelerator. The host will review the submitted assignments and assign a mentor to each participant present at the workshop. This means you'll get personalized feedback and guidance.

Laura Allan will kick off the workshop with a keynote, sharing her expert insights on how to craft value propositions that work. We will then move into breakout sessions where various mentors will work with participants in smaller groups on their specific situations, based on the previously completed assignments. Mentors who will join Laura for breakout sessions include Hannah Parish, Paul Gray, Cathryn Love, Shelley Potts, Jonathan Tice, Don Bourne, Corry Flatt, Keith McDevitt and Alexander Schwertner.

At the end of the day, we will all regroup to gather and summarize learnings from the various groups, followed by a dinner and networking opportunities.

Not only will you be learning from experienced professionals, but you'll also get to do it in a stunning and inspiring setting. The Georgian Peaks Ski Club offers breathtaking views of the Georgian Bay area, making it the perfect place to brainstorm and network with other start-up founders.

This workshop is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs and founders of early-stage start-ups to learn from the best and develop a successful value proposition. By understanding your target customers and their problems, you can develop a value proposition that resonates with them and sets your business apart from the competition.

Register now and get ready to take your business to the next level. We can't wait to see what amazing ideas you'll come up with!
