Are you an entrepreneur or business owner seeking to turn your venture into a thriving, successful business? The Georgian Bay Accelerator is thrilled to announce the next in our series of entrepreneurial workshops featuring the renowned startup expert, Laura Allan. Mark your calendar, and get your ticket to join us on November 15th, 2023 at the Georgian Peaks Ski Club.
At this workshop, attendees, whether they are startup founders or established entrepreneurs, will have the opportunity to better understand and articulate their business model and ensure that it is the most effective for your venture. During this workshop, we will learn why it is critical to understand your business model, why business models typically fail, and how to avoid that. In our group sessions, mentors will help you answer questions like what type of business model you are using today, how you create value for your customer and if you have set up your back end to deliver this value, and most importantly which revenue model can help you to make money.
To make the most of this event, participants will again be given a homework assignment prior to the event that will include the completion of a business model canvas. We kindly ask participants to hand the homework in before the start of the event.
One of the highlights of this workshop is the personalized mentorship program. Our host, Laura Allan, will oversee the assignment review process and pair each participant with a seasoned mentor, tailoring guidance and feedback. Our mentors at the event include Jonathan Tice, Alexander Schwertner, and Peter Heinke.
After Laura Allan's keynote presentation, the event will transition into breakout sessions, where the various mentors will work closely with attendees in smaller groups, addressing specific challenges and opportunities.
The day will end with everyone coming together to share what they've learned from their group discussions, followed by a light dinner and networking session. This not only ensures that you gain knowledge and skills from experienced professionals but also provides a platform for valuable connections and interactions with fellow entrepreneurs.
Admission to the event is $29, which includes a light dinner, and will support the not-for-profit GB Accelerator. Sign up now to reserve your spot in this workshop!
The event has sold out! Please contact us if you wish to attend.
